COPE Visiting Researcher Programme

Each year COPE initiates a Call for international scholars and researchers to take part in the COPE Visiting Researcher Programme. The Programme is structured around COPE’s yearly research themes and provides visitors with an opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary environment on topics related to their own research.

Visitors are expected to stay for a duration of 3-6 months, and are provided with office space, consultation and feedback on their work, and the possibility to contribute to joint publications, grant applications and other center activities together with COPE researchers. Visitors may also have the opportunity to provide guest lectures through the affiliated Master of Disaster Management Programme (MDMa). Upon completion from the programme, participants will receive a certificate of attendance and be integrated into the COPE alumni network.

The current Call for 2019/2020 invites scholars and researchers working in areas related to the theme Disaster Risk Governance. Details about the call theme can be found here.
