PhD and Post-Doc vacancies at the Global Health Section
The Global Health Section at the Department of Public Health is offering two a PhD and a Postdoc fellowship for 2 exciting projects.
The PhD project will be part of a co-funded project by Novo Nordisk Foundation and ADRA Denmark on Community-Led Climate Change Adaptation and Food Security in Yemen. This research project aims to explore and understand the complex intersection between climate change and food (in)security in the context of conflict and fragility. By exploring the coping mechanisms and adaptation strategies employed by local agricultural communities, the research seeks to identify approaches for community-led climate adaptation in conflict-affected settings.

The Postdoc position is offered within the research project “Himili Pamoja, Gendered Encounters in Climate Change Adaptation in Tanzania” placed in the Section of Global Health, Department of Public Health, University of Copenhagen. The position entails close collaboration with Danish and Tanzanian project partners, postdocs and PhD students at the University of Dar es Salaam and State University of Zanzibar.
The position is financed by Danida, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Denmark. The successful candidate will be working at the Global Health Section, Department of Public Health in Copenhagen and engage in field work in Tanzania.
